We provide access to services in 8 languages—English, Creole, French, Mandarin, Spanish, Urdu, Nepalese, and Vietnamese—ensuring everyone in our community is supported.

We support over 15,700 new clients each year, from individuals and families to entire communities.

Our mission: Improve pregnancy and birth outcomes, supporting the health and development of every family and individuals, so all babies are born healthy and stay healthy.

How do we make a difference? Through four core programs:

* Perinatal Services: Support pregnant and parenting families with expert guidance, advocacy, and connections to essential resources.
* Family Support: Offer children under 5 and their caregivers a safe, nurturing environment to connect, learn, and grow together.
* Youth Services: Empower middle and high school students with evidence-based education that helps them make informed, healthy decisions.
* Health Insurance Programs: Guide individuals and families through the NYS marketplace and provide support to overcome health insurance challenges.


As a student volunteer or intern, you will:

* Develop leadership skills in nonprofit administration. Gain insight into nonprofit management—from funding and operations to strategic decisions that fuel community impact.
* Build your marketing and fundraising expertise. Participate in fundraising campaigns, manage social media and communications, and help recruit future volunteers.
* Work directly with our program experts to create meaningful change for families and individuals across our four core service areas.
