Mac & Cheese Fest is the largest annual fundraiser of the Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra. The Binghamton Philharmonic is the Southern Tier’s largest and longest-serving professional symphony orchestra.
We need help with the 4 following roles!
Cleanup/packing (as many volunteers as has signed up for event):
Will help Philharmonic staff pick up and clean up.
Will help Philharmonic staff pack up event gear and load into vehicles.
Will help return gear to the Philharmonic offices downtown (on 71 State Street, corner of State & Hawley Sts, a few blocks from DoubleTree).
Judge Runners/Valets (2-4 volunteers):
Run samples from each restaurant to the dispatcher with each respective judge.
Napkin/fork table tidying (2-4 volunteers): Provide ancillary support as needed, e.g. helping restaurants, putting out more napkins & forks, refilling chip table, etc.
Restaurant helpers (8 volunteers):
Assist with providing sample cups, utensils, scooping pasta, or whatever the restaurant(s) to whom you’re assigned need(s).
Restaurant valets (2-3 volunteers):
Run samples from each restaurant to dispatcher with each respective judge
Water station (6 volunteers): Assist with continually filling pitchers of water to provide restaurants for their chafing dishes.
