StrongSteps Behavioral Health Foundation is seeking motivated student volunteers to help expand awareness, fundraising, and community partnerships throughout Broome County and the Southern Tier.
Volunteer responsibilities may include:
• Contacting local businesses by phone, email, and in person to introduce StrongSteps programs and services
• Assisting with sponsorship and fundraising efforts
• Helping plan and coordinate fundraising events
• Researching potential donors, sponsors, and community partners
• Promoting StrongSteps through social media and community outreach
• Attending community events and representing the organization
• Developing ideas to increase awareness of behavioral health resources in the community
• Supporting organizational growth and community engagement initiatives
This opportunity is ideal for students interested in nonprofit management, business, marketing, communications, psychology, social work, public health, and community engagement.
Volunteers will gain hands-on experience in fundraising, outreach, nonprofit operations, event planning, and community relations while making a positive impact in the community.
