Project Description
EmpowerCNY’s Workforce Development initiative brings college students into leadership roles where they make real impact—developing programs that connect youth with meaningful career exposure and pathways.

Key Opportunities for Volunteers:

Leadership – Join our core leadership team and influence multiple programs while shaping the initiative’s direction.

Operations – Coordinate career fairs, job-shadow experiences, speaker panels, and visits with local businesses to support student exposure to diverse career paths.

Entrepreneurship – Help launch new workforce ventures, drive program growth, and bring fresh ideas to life in a fast-paced environment.

Why It Matters:
Through hands-on experiences — from organizing events to engaging with community partners — participants build real-world skills in planning, networking, and social impact, all while improving equality of opportunity across Central New York.
